DE GROOT PENICHE 38M

This 38.47-meter (171 m²) barge, DE GROOT, was built in the Netherlands in 1957 under the Belgian flag. Initially used for transporting vegetables and flower bulbs, it has undergone a remarkable transformation. After two years of renovation, it has become a comfortable and welcoming living space, perfect for accommodating up to twelve people.

 

The boat features six comfortable cabins equipped with spacious beds (160 cm wide), practical storage, and reversible air conditioning. Each cabin has its own bathroom, with one even including a bathtub for optimal comfort. A washing machine is also available.

 

The common living area is spacious and designed for socializing. It includes a modern kitchen equipped with electric cooktops, an American-style refrigerator, and a wine cellar. A large dining table allows everyone to enjoy meals together in a cozy setting, complemented by a lounge area.

 

The outdoor spaces have been redesigned to provide exceptional relaxation areas. The central deck, sheltered from rain and sun, offers a 20 m² space, while the forward deck, approximately 70 m², with wooden benches, is perfect for sunbathing, enjoying an aperitif, napping, or even doing yoga as you wish.

 

Equipped with solar panels and modern amenities, this boat is also fully self-sufficient. It represents the perfect blend of tradition and modernity, offering a unique experience on the water.
