Owner speaks : We are a family and we choose this Dufour 455 GL as we had a project of spending a year at sea, sailing from Marseille to the Caribbean islands. Important improvements were carried out in 2019 to make the boat even more apt for offshore sailing. The batteries were completely changed (735 amps) and the installation of a hydrogenator gave the boat complete autonomy for energy during sailing. A spinnaker pole on rail was installed for the use of the genoa for long downwind sails. The watermaker allows for a perfect autonomy when the boat is mooring. The boat is seaworthy and very fast, not the least thanks to the main sail and genoa from 2019 (D2 range from Incidence). Four people (2 adults and 2 teenagers) lived on board for one year and we were particularly satisfied with the comfort on board and the excellent performance at sea of this boat. We hope that this boat will find new owners with a great navigation project so that she can continue her route on the oceans.
